Welcome to the GlobalMars Foundation website. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and related online services, including donations, event registration, and volunteer applications. By using the site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. About GlobalMars Foundation

GlobalMars Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation working to improve education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, and community wellbeing in India. Website content is provided for information and to facilitate support for our programmes.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into agreements in your jurisdiction to use donation, registration, or volunteer features. If you act on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

3. Use of the website

You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or overload the site or related systems.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Scrape, copy, or reuse substantial site content without our written permission.
• Use the site to harass others or violate any applicable law.

4. Donations

• Donations are voluntary contributions to support our charitable work.
• Payment is processed by third-party providers (such as Razorpay). Their terms also apply to the payment step.
• Unless stated otherwise for a specific campaign, donations are generally non-refundable once successfully processed. If a technical error occurs, contact us promptly with your payment reference.
• Donation receipts are issued by email after successful payment. We currently do not offer income-tax exemption benefits (such as 12A/80G).

5. Event registration and tickets

• Some events require registration. Availability, ticket types, prices, and deadlines are shown on each event page.
• Registrations may remain pending until approved by our team. A digital ticket (with QR code) is issued only after approval.
• Paid tickets are charged when you complete checkout; approval may still be required before a ticket is issued. Rejected paid registrations may require a refund processed via the payment provider.
• We may cancel or reschedule events for operational or safety reasons and will communicate alternatives where reasonably possible.
• Public attendee lists show limited name details only for people who opt in during registration.

6. Volunteer applications

Submitting a volunteer application does not guarantee acceptance. We may approve or decline applications at our discretion. Approved volunteers may be asked to complete a profile and follow our volunteer guidelines and code of conduct.

7. Intellectual property

Site text, branding, logos, photographs, and design elements are owned by GlobalMars Foundation or used with permission. You may share links to our pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other use requires prior written consent.

8. Third-party links and services

The site may link to external websites or embed third-party tools (payments, maps, analytics). We are not responsible for their content or practices. Review their terms and privacy policies separately.

9. Disclaimer

Programme descriptions, impact figures, and event details are provided in good faith and may change. The site is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, GlobalMars Foundation and its trustees, staff, and volunteers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site, donations, event attendance, or volunteer activities, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or use of the site, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms periodically. The “Last updated” date will reflect changes. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
